Indeed I am, but it does not look like that will be solved anytime soon. Just turning file.toURL into file.toURI.toURL introduces issues when the code is not ameneded to deal with the %20 on the other side of the equation, that is, turning a url into a file. And at the moment the full patch is still not ready. So I'd say go ahead wit the release once the critical issues are dealth with. If we don't get GET-2568 into a 2.5.x release we'll make it into trunk.
