Hi Andrea:
A couple of things - the jfree dependency version number is tracked in
chart/pom.xml - and not isolated into the dependency management
section of the root pom.xml.
I understand that you and alex worked out the revsion number of the
snapshot for the 2.6-M2 release. This is not working out for me as I
am building the tag from svn - and 1.1.1-SNAPSHOT represents a moving
target (ie the transitive dependencies it has on jfreechart have
changed from 1.0.13 to 1.0.16.
Sigh.
To get out of this mess I would like to:
1. Take a checkout we have of -r101 and deploy it as a specific timestamp:
eastwood-1.1.1-20090514.000000-1.jar
2. create a root pom.xml dependeceManagement section on the 2.6-M2 tag
with this information
3. change chart/pom.xml to not mention the version number
Does this sound okay?
