Thick lines are usually depicted with small artifacts when the actual lines has
many tiny deviations over the main course. Take into account the line thickness
when performing the generalization and generalize more thick lines. If we are
depicting a line 6px wide we're not interested in changes of course that span
only 1 or 2 pixels. Consider also using angles during the simplications (Jenks
approach) by only using the derivative (dy/dx) to avoid using heavy
trigonometric functions
