Great, I look forward to see that module in action :-) I think the only step you should take before getting commit access is to sign a copyright assignment to OSGEO (either you as the writer or the organisation you work for, whoever is the copyright holder of the code you're donating): http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOT/1+Contributors Actually I'm not sure if that is even necessary for community modules... pretty sure it is for supported modules thought.... hopefully someone else will chime in and clarify this bit.
