Hi all, The UCOSP Ingres team has been working on adding support for Ingres into Geotools. We have now identified the test and src classes that we will need to subclass and we are finalizing our test plans.
Our plan moving forward is as follow: (Does it look reasonable?) 1. Create a project gt-jdbc-ingres in a similar fashion as gt-jdbc-db2 except we will put the project under modules/unsupported instead of modules/plugin. 2. Mimic the package structure of gt-jdbc-db2 and create the test and src packages in the ingres project. 3. Implement Ingres specific test and jdbc-subclasses. To prepare for the eventual check-ins of test code and functionality code. We would like to request for SVN commit access for Geotools, specific to our unsupported part of the tree. We have not identified any need to modify the core jdbc component yet, but if we do, we will post the proposal here for review and comments.
