In the renderer there is a newish functionality called "advanced projection handling" that is going to cut away all points that evidently sit beyond what the math of a few well known projections can handle. I think mercator is one of those... yeah, it is (see org.geotools.renderer.crs.MercatorHandlerFactory in the renderer module). To activate this functionality you have to pass a hint to the renderer: rendererParams.put(StreamingRenderer.ADVANCED_PROJECTION_HANDLING_KEY, true); renderer.setRendererHints(rendererParams); Cheers Andrea ----------------------------------------------------- Ing.
