Hi all, A while back Erik van de Pol submitted a nice patch for the gml3 module that adds much better support for parsing surfaces and curves. The relevant issue can be found here:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-3324 I have been working with Erik to bring the contribution in in such a away that won't break backwards compatibility. For instance the first version of the patch broke GeoServer cite tests due to changes in the type mappings of various bindings. So we came up with the solution of only changing those mappings (and enabling the extended curve/surface) support if the user sets a flag. And it is basically done and ready to commit. I wanted to bring up the issue because I intend to commit the change to 2.7.x, even though it is so close to release. And want to make sure no one has issue with that. Again by default no code should change so should be a non risky change. Thanks. -Justin -- Justin Deoliveira OpenGeo - http://opengeo.org Enterprise support for open source geospatial.
