The attached patch adds a bit more consistency to the method that convert
non-JTS objects to JTS geometries:
* provides toGeometry(Foo) and toGeometry(Foo, GeometryFactory)
* deprecates shapeToGeometry in favour of toGeometry(Shape) and
toGeometry(Shape, GeometryFactory)
* tests for null args in all methods
