Hi, next week we're going to release GS RC4, as we did find some isues that disallow releasing RC3 as 2.1.0 final.
Unfortunately some of these issues required changes in GeoTools: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-3484 (which is unfortunately serious, but has a workaround) http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4283 (has a gt2 patch attached) Long story short, we need at the very least to tag GeoTools... not sure about releasing, we just released 2.7.0 a few days ago... I would go for just tagging. I hope GS will resume monthly releases after 2.1.0, which would imply also monthly releases of GeoTools.
