Hey Justin.
How about this ... can we release a 2.7.0.1 .... to maven and tag.
And then update the 2.7.0 download page to indicate that a 2.7.0.1 release is
available in maven containing a few bug fixes for GeoServer 2.1 or whatever.
And yes I will write up a proposal page for dropping the "2" and going to
8.0-SNAPSHOT. No sense messing up the 2.7.x series as it is already released.
