AppSchema filter failing with '/' characters
--------------------------------------------
Key: GEOT-3522
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-3522
Project: GeoTools
Issue Type: Bug
Components: data app-schema
Environment: Tested with java 1.6
Reporter: Joshua Vote
Attachments: brokenfilter.xml, stacktrace.txt
Tested with various geoserver/appschema nightly builds - the most recent being
31-Mar-2011 nightly build
If I have an OGC filter with an XPath that includes a string literal forward
slash '/' character in the <ogc:PropertyName> element Geoserver will return an
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -10
exception.
See attached query for an example of the query in question - the filter in
question contains the following XPath
gml:name[@codeSpace='http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2616'] (Notice the included
String literal has '/' characters). Removing these characters causes the query
to 'work'.
Attached is a WFS query with an embedded filter query that causes the error to
occur.
