geodb is the separation of h2 + spatial into a separate project with no
geotools dependencies. Just h2 + jts. I had the need to do this for a
project a while back and then was approached by the hibernate spatial folks
who were interested in it. It has a small handful of users at this point...
eventually i decided to have the geotools h2 datastore use it once the
ability to do spatial indexing via hatbox was added.
