MapContent creates a default viewport on the first call to its getViewport
method. It would also be convenient to be able to assign an existing viewport
instance. The attached patch adds a setViewport method which sets a new
viewport and returns the old one, if any.
Jody: I'm not sure whether this is in line with the way you intend MapContent
and MapViewport instances to work together. I'm submitting the patch to fit in
with current gt-swing work but if it's not kosher I can change the way things
are done in swing.
