DirectLayers are used for custom drawing. Rather than containing features and a
Style to be used by a renderer, they draw themselves via their "draw" method.
StreamingRenderer should recognize DirectLayer instances contained in a
MapContent, possibly along with other Layer types, and separate them out for
special handling.
