A follow email to this issue. This also hit me while working on a geotools
fork yesterday. I think it is also causing problems with my git diff. It was
difficult to track down because eclipse is handling the encoding ok (test
passed) but it failed using command line git bash.
I tested locally by reencoding the file as utf-8 no bom in notepad++ and the
mvn test ran and passed.
This might also affect diff's and patches as I don't get single line changes
but changes accross the entire file even though most lines are the same.
