That looks good,

We tend to broadcast major release announcements a bit further then a normal release, as such we should find some more content - as this release has taken a while.

Ideas:

1) List the high value changes since 2.7.x (rather than just the fixes from the last RC)

2) Stable Release

I am fond of listing that this is made "in conjunction with GeoServer 2.2, GeoWebCache etc by way of indicating that this is a stable release that can be used in production. Can even mentioned OSGeo Live if you like as I updated the docs for GeoTools 8.0.

If we have not already mentioned it in a release announcement we can indicate that this is a stable release, and that no additional updates to 2.7.x are planned.
