If it helps there is a BaseFeatureCollection that just requires a
features() method, which is great for wrappers that formally supplied an
iteration() method.
I am on IRC on and off this weekend if needed - trying to release a
milestone release (not even sure where to start with the new scripts -
perhaps the GeoServer directions).
The uDig migration ready on a branch. The change to FeatureEvent means I
have to throw a FeatureSource around for anything editable rather than
FeatureCollection :(. Expected but still a pain.
