-1, this is too vague in two ways: * no clear list of modules that we'd need to stay clear of * no idea how the freeze on such modules would last (e.g., a freeze for a couple of days ok, two weeks no way) As for the pull request that originated this discussion, let's have a look at the diff, it's so small that it only takes a minute: https://github.com/geotools/geotools/pull/45/files (actually too small, it lacks a test). Can you tell me how that patch can collide with your work on removing the java.util.collection methods from FeatureCollection?
