Hi,
I was looking into this pull request that adds support for external graphics
"inline content" support:

"inline content" is the ability to embed the graphic inside of the SLD
sheet itself,
by base64 encoding the external file one wants to use as the icon.
The patch looks good to me, and with just one minor change it builds
properly.
Soo.. why am I bothering the devel list with it? Well, because it adds one
public method to the StyleFactory interface, being an API change I thought
it was a good idea to share it with the community before moving forward.
The new method is:
public ExternalGraphic createExternalGraphic(Icon inlineContent, String
format);
which overloads the existing one:
public ExternalGraphic createExternalGraphic(String uri, String format);
Given that the graphic is "inline" the new method seems both necessary and
with a reasonable API
