As per GEOT-4337 the StreamingRenderer is unable to natively draw 3D content (as it expects a MathTransform2D).
What it does support is issuing a request with the Feature2D hint (requesting that the DataStore downsample the content prior to throwing it at the screen). This is a database level hint in part so we can request less information over the wire (especially since we are going to promptly throw it away).
Supporting this hint will meet my customers use-case, I am going to blindly drop the 3 axis (like the hint requests). Fixing GEOT-4337 represents a larger challenge (similar to how JTS.transformTo2D is accomplished).
