Sorry for the late answer.
One one side, I believe upgrading JTS is low risk, so it's most likely
suitable for the stable series.
On the other side... wouldn't it be better if we give some incentive to
people
to upgrade to the next version of GeoTools?
You know, so that there is a large list of benefits in the upgrade to
compensate
for the periodic API changes that we make, so that users are tempted to
upgrade
more often and as a result don't get too much of a difference between the
various
GeoTools series?
It also goes in line with the idea that new features are done on trunk, and
that
it requires a vote to backport them to the stable series.
Anyways, just a thought I wanted to share, I'm fine either way.
