Thanks to Andrea for keeping me company on IRC, the release went fairly
smoothly, with release announcement here
(http://geotoolsnews.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/geotools-91-released.html).
I only had a couple of difficulties:
1) the README.html included in the release refers to the "latest" documentation
(rather than "stable").
Now that 9.x is going out as "stable" we can fix these links.
2) The previous release announcement had incorrect links to the downloads
example:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/geotools/files/GeoTools%209%20Releases/9.0-RC1/geotools-9.0-bin.zip/download
I fixed these in the previous post.
