Hi Jody,
I have updated the proposal with an actual task section and marked the need
for a volunteer on the docs (not sure how to state that you volunteered to
do that?)
Code examples wise there are two separate activities:
* update the code not to cast to AbstractGridCoverage2DReader (there are 6
references in the sample rst files)
* show an example of a reader that offers more than one coverage
For the first there are no issues, for the second we won't have an
implementation that can actually do multiple coverages
until the netcdf plugin and the associated imagemosaic improvements land.
I guess it would be nice to make a "directory coverage reader" much like
the reader of directories for shapefiles, and
I'm actually game writing one, but it will take some time as this has no
funding backing it, so it's something I'd have to
push in the weekends.
