I will forward this on to the developers list (and Ian). Ian did indicate that was going to rebuild GeoTools in order to collect those patches - perhaps the wrong bundle was uploaded / deployed?
Given that the release is late (due to Ian travelling), and this was not caught when he put samples up for community review, I expect you will need to: - wait until next month? - volunteer to release a 9.4.1? But do check in with Ian, and please sign up to the developer list and introduce yourself.
