I will forward this on to the developers list (and Ian). Ian did indicate
that was going to rebuild GeoTools in order to collect those patches -
perhaps the wrong bundle was uploaded / deployed?

Given that the release is late (due to Ian travelling), and this was not
caught when he put samples up for community review, I expect you will need
to:
- wait until next month?
- volunteer to release a 9.4.1?

But do check in with Ian, and please sign up to the developer list and
introduce yourself.

Jody

To: jody.garn...@gmail.com

Hi, Jody

Sorry to bother you again. I found the geotools v9.4 doesn't apply your
commit to fix the GPL header issues. I have notified Ian, but no response,
so I have to contact you again. Is there still any way to fix that in v9.4?

Ian

Thanks, I have downloaded that build and found that GPL header issues are
still there. Jody had commit to fix those at 9.4. I listed the files
contain those issues for your reference:

geotools-9.4\modules\library\main\src\main\java\org\geotools\util\EnumerationConverterFactory.java
geotools-9.4\modules\unsupported\process-raster\src\main\java\org\geotools\process\raster\BaseCoverageAlgebraProcess.java
geotools-9.4\modules\unsupported\process-raster\src\main\java\org\geotools\process\raster\GridCoverage2DRIA.java
geotools-9.4\modules\unsupported\process\src\main\java\org\geotools\process\gs\WrappingIterator.java

Can someone help to apply the fix for those issues?

   I've kicked off a new GeoTools 9.4 release to catch Jody's commit - I'll
also be rebuilding GeoServer 2.3.4 so it would be cool if someone could
point me to some instructions on how to make sure the installers get built.

I can rebuild if you need (I still need to work out why/how the
      installers work)

Ian I fixed several GPL headers (see *9.x
commits*<https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commits/9.x>)
which are of interest to Shi Wei Yu. I also found several
more examples on
my own. I am not if I managed to get the commit applied
before or after you
         tagged 9.4?

Could you confirm that the attached issues in geotools v9.3 have
been fixed in the next release of geotools? If yes, when will
that release
         be available? Thanks!

We are on a monthly release schedule for the stable series, the
master development branch changes over every six months.

         Please see *

I have raised the issue in Jira, and it is being discussed today
on the geotools-devel list. Please feel free to assist.

Note: That is not a confirmation, just simply that it has been
reported. While the community appears to be taking action
nobody is under
         contract on this one :D
