The GeoSciML community has long wanted to encode 1D boreholes.
I've created a series of patches related to this issue:

  • Allow custom srsName (non EPSG).
  • Allow encoding uomLabels/axisLabels if configured via app-schema.
  • Don't encode srsDimension for empty geometries.
  • Encode geometry attributes with substitutionGroup (e.g. sams:shape/gml:Curve).

I created app-schema test cases which I will commit together as well.
This is also related to GEOT-4530.
