if I remember correctly Brett wanted to start looking into library
upgrades, is that right?
I guess with the new trunk open, it would be high time to do so :-)
Let's start with this pull request, that updates JDOM:

Seems fine to me, although I haven't tried a build yet. Any particular
reason it might
cause issues?
