There is a test and fix for this at
https://github.com/ianturton/geotools/commit/d7db30103390e827789acdb8a743965377508e31but
I seem to have screwed up my git repo with a bunch of other commits
(First time I've tried to do a commit with out following the book step by
step ;-( ).

Can some kind soul either mail me the steps to fix this or make a PR for me?

Cheers

Ian
