We just forked WKTReader at the time of writing, if improvements have been
made in the original we will not of picked them up.
Why? Because the methods we needed to override were private, so we had to
duplicate *all* public methods in order to call our revised protected
methods. We could ask martin about making some of these methods protected
in order to smoothly integrate in the future.
