Passing the message along - do we have anyone going?
---
Dear GeoServer project members,
on behalf of the FOSS4G Europe 2015 organizers, we would like to invite you
to submit a workshop proposal in conjunction with the conference on July
14th, 2015.
The second edition of the FOSS4G Europe Conference will be held at
Politecnico di Milano in Como, Italy, from July 15th to 17th, 2015. A day
of workshops will precede the conference on July 14th, and a code sprint
will close the event on July 18th.
We, the organizing committee, consider the workshops as a very important
part of the conference. OSGeo projects represent the highest standards
among the free and open source software for geospatial. Who could give
better workshops than the developers of those excellent software? Please
think to take this opportunity by submitting a workshop proposal on
GeoServer. We have room up to 10 practical workshops of 4:00 hours, which
will be selected among all proposals by a dedicated Workshop Committee.
Please, note also that the main presenter of each workshop gets reduced
conference fees (student rate).
You can find more information on the homepage of the conference [1] and,
for any question, you can contact us at contact-foss...@osgeo.org.
Best regards,
Maria Brovelli
Chair of the organizing committee
Zoltan Siki
Chair of the workshop committee
