Hi Team,
Nicola is working on setting up 2 proposals:
One for the viewsType deprecation and the other for the JAI-EXT integration.
He will come back as soon as possible (tomorrow or the next day) with links
to the Confluence pages containing them.
We haven't done that before since we had originally planned to do that for
14.x instead of 13.x and we were waiting for the end of freeze.
He will also come out with related pull request in a couple of days. In
such a context, although the proposals will be separated, we are thinking
about coming back with a single pull request, since the 2 topics are quite
related.
