Just wanted to double back to this issue, as GEOT-5064
<https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOT-5064> indicates you want to
back port the functionality - do you want to do that before next week's
release?
A number of GeoServer issues are stacking up on this subject (GEOS-7005
<https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-7005>, GEOS-6614
<https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-6614>).
