The dowside of that approach is that people will have to use our prefix one level above, like, if you extend TextSymbolizer, you have to introduce a gt:TextSymbolizer element with the new sub-elements, which in turn requires to create a new schema, generate new bindings (subclasses) for gt-xsd, create new xsd binding (and then create a xsd subclass for the SLD 1.0 and modify the SLDParser/SLDTransformer, but that's trivial by comparison to what you have to do with gt-xsd) Cheers Andrea -- == GeoServer Professional Services from the experts!
