specifiers, e.g 10m, that should make common scale denominators quick to
type and read (I've noticed ysld allows for scientific notation but
honestly.. do I really want to type and read "1e10", how many will
instantly realize it's the millions?)
Yes this is a good idea. Wondering if forcing 'k' and 'm' to be uppercased
would improve readability, I think 10m can be (even in the context) mislead
by 10 meters at a first look ... 10M makes it more clear.
I already have a patch that accepts both case, to allow the reader to
choose his preferred style.
There should be no confusion, the values are in a scale denominator rule
and meters make no sense in there.
But oh well, if others find that it would be confusing, I'm open to acept
only uppercase values.
If you want SI then it should be "k" and "M" and "G". Personally I find
lowercase to be more readable. I say accept both, but then I also prefer
1e10. :-)
A thousands separator also makes numbers more readable, but then your
CSS number format is localised.
Kind regards,
