Awesome, the build on your machine is actually some seconds faster than on
mine. Which I guess shows
the build parallelism level is still suffering, or that, in other words,
having less but faster cores beats
more but slower.
Indeed there are still plenty of places in the build where the number of
modules building in parallel is
less than 4, and my work concentrated on those. Even after it, the
metadata->referencing->espg-hsql->main
chain is killing parallelism quite a bit.
There is also something involving gt-xsd-gml3 and related dependencies that
is keeping at bay
another large chunk of the build (gt-xsd-sld which eventually gt-render
depends on).
But yeah, for the time being I'm satisfied enough, feels like there will be
deminishing returns from here on
