The GeoServer "main" GeoJSON output is older than the gt-geojson module
(and encodes features faster too), it's used in WMS GetFeatureInfo and WFS
GetFeature.
The gt-geojson module is used instead in importer and WPS because it can
also read features. So yep, there is a chance that breakage in GeoTools
affects the
build in GeoServer, in case that happens either someone comes in with a
quick fix, or we might have to revert changes. That said, I would not
consider it very likely
to happen (neither the breakage, and even less so, the revert) :-)
