Hi, I was asked to improve formatting options for coordinates in WFS output.
Currently we only have the ability to set the max # of decimals. We would like to introduce some new options, in particular: - force use of decimals notation, disallowing scientific notation - introduce optional zero (right-)padding for decimals, up to configured # of decimals To implement that I would: - improve the existing GeoTools CoordinateFormatter (force decimal encoding is already there, we only need a padWithZeros option) - introduce new options (forceDecimal and padWithZeros) where needed (GMLWriter, GML configurations, etc.), leaving the default behaviour untouched - introduce the new options in GeoServer FeatureType / Layer configurations and related UI Any concern / advice? -- Regards, Mauro Bartolomeoli == GeoServer Professional Services from the experts!
