Hi Luis, Well, it's not a projection class. It's a projectionHandlerFactory being used in reprojections. It returns a Projection Handler in order to deal with map wrapping, geometries crossing the dateline, singularity of CRS and so on. The validity bounds are simply a reference area used when checking the input geometries, in order to apply some processing/checks on them in case they are partially out of bounds and so on.
