might have been my-bad, though I'm not aware of any mishaps and don't have any forks or local branches that have this. I had a windows machine on loan for a couple of days that may have caused this...

It ("duplicate_main") does not seem to have any commits that the main branch has, so I think it ("duplicate_main") can just be deleted.

I have renamed Main as duplicate_main (https://github.com/geotools/geotools/tree/duplicate_main <https://github.com/geotools/geotools/tree/duplicate_main>) and we can clean it up another day.

    Okay not sure how this happened but it is really disrupting my
    release process:

      * https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commits/main
        <https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commits/main>
        default branch - branch I have been tracking and created 26.x from
      * https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commits/Main
        <https://github.com/geotools/geotools/commits/Main>
        Last commit september 2 2021

    This is really messing up git on my system, it keeps pulling track
    changes against *Main* when working on the *main* branch.
