Yeah I thought it was being worked on... The JTS release is now ready: https://github.com/locationtech/jts/releases/tag/1.19.0 and the artifacts avalable on maven central. While I knew about a regression (that was fixed) on geojso output Ian is trying things out now and finding trouble with the JDBC datastores.
