Missing someone to run the scripts (Andrea checking if he can free some of his work hours) Jody made branches and jobs. PR to revert the logging configuration overwrite, currently not passing QA <https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/6234>. GWC release script having some trouble - initial fix merged here <https://github.com/GeoWebCache/geowebcache/pull/1095>. Action plan: - jody will release geotools - kevin will release geowebcache (and troubleshoot release.rb on modern version of ruby) - volunteer needed for geoserver (apply now!) Chit chat Making REST and OGC API coexist: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/6225 - Might interact poorly with GWC Rest API wrapper? The pr to silence the empty settings.xml is merged, however: - the test appender was not working (not collecting events) - action: Jody report test appender not working as a ticket Logging configuration override discussion - Checksum verification to only update unchanged files -> probably not worthwhile, these files don’t change frequently enough for this to be worth it - Will we have a flurry of release notes that all say “Update your logging config” -> Even if there are a bunch of changes over the course of several months, people don’t tend to upgrade often enough for this to really be a problem Docs: - geowebcache? - Not yet … when this is done we can get off s3 - We may need a build script? - ruby build script can build; deploying was a pain for s3 - can we copy the ant build script from geotools or geoserver? - copy geoserver build jobs as a starting point - geotools? getting swapped over to different server (needs swap to happen and PR) - "geotools-main-docs-lite" remove please (done) - geosever? - Note: with recent swap of latest → stable → maintenance are all the jobs uploading correctly?
