GEOS-11435

GEOS-11435 <https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-11435>
Incompatibility between customize attributes and reprojection result in
array index out of bounds

Ack! This is a interesting bug masked by another bug:

   -

   Earlier releases failed reprojection
   -

Now that that is fixed we can see that attribute customization does not
   work with reprojection
   -

And that the default data directory unexpectedly has attribute
   customization (from 13 years ago)

Fix approach?

PSC actions:

Create 2 new Categories:

   -

   GeoServer (now),
   -

GeoTools (Maybe? Later? or move to GitHub Discussions)

Create subcategories:

   -

   Users
   -

   Developers?

Create pinned topics within Users: Latest releases

Q: Can we do developer list also? Or move to github discussions…
- can decide later, proposal just cover geoserver-users?

Q: Any other languages?

   -

   nope …

Q: What about gitter?
- https://geoserver.org/devel/ it is mentioned here and in README.md

Next steps:

   -

Refine updates to just cover User list, create PR
   -

Setting up the category and importing the data (osgeo Trac ticket)
   -

Leave the mailing list open for a month or so, do another import after
   closing.

Planning

   -

action: update spring-framework roadmap, for geofence communication
   refactor
