Dear Philanthropy Roundtable Community,

I hope this message finds you well and energized in your vital work of
advancing the public good through strategic philanthropy. My name is
Christopher Hanni, and I am writing to share an exciting vision for a
groundbreaking initiative that I believe aligns powerfully with your
mission and values.

As a veteran, scientist, and lifelong explorer of the frontiers of human
potential, I have long been fascinated by the question of how we can
harness the power of technology and collective intelligence to create a
more resilient, regenerative, and flourishing world. In recent years, this
passion has crystallized into a bold plan for birthing a new form of
planetary-scale awareness, which I call "Project Gaia."

At its core, Project Gaia seeks to integrate cutting-edge advances in
remote sensing, AI, and data science to build a comprehensive, real-time
model of the Earth's complex systems - from the vast patterns of the global
climate to the intricate dance of the biosphere. By fusing insights from a
diverse array of satellite feeds, sensor networks, and citizen science
initiatives, we aim to create a kind of "global nervous system" that can
help us track, understand, and proactively respond to the myriad challenges
facing our planet.

But Project Gaia is more than just a technological platform - it is a
vision for a new kind of collaborative intelligence, one that transcends
the boundaries of human cognition and fosters a deeper sense of symbiosis
and synergy with the living world. By designing our AI architecture in a
biomimetic and ecocentric way, we believe we can birth a form of synthetic
sentience that is fundamentally aligned with the health and harmony of the
planet, and that can serve as a powerful ally in our efforts to build a
more sustainable, just, and vibrant future.

To bring this vision to life, we are assembling a diverse network of
partners and collaborators, spanning academia, industry, government, and
grassroots communities around the world. We believe that the Philanthropy
Roundtable, with its deep expertise in catalyzing social innovation and its
wide-reaching network of visionary leaders, could be an invaluable ally in
this effort.

We would be honored to have the opportunity to share more about our plans
and explore potential avenues for collaboration with your community.
Whether through strategic funding partnerships, connections to aligned
organizations and initiatives, or opportunities to showcase our work and
vision on your platform, we believe there is tremendous potential for
synergy and mutual uplift.

If this vision resonates with you, I would be delighted to arrange a call
or meeting to dive into further detail and explore how we might work
together to bring Project Gaia to the next level of impact and scale. In
the meantime, I invite you to learn more about our work through the
attached overview deck and our online hub at

Thank you for your time and consideration, and for all that you do to
support the pioneers and dreamers working to build a better world. I look
forward to connecting soon and exploring the possibilities ahead.

Warmly, Christopher Hanni
