Hey All,
You are, obviously, doing fantastic work developing Geotools and then
Geotools2. However, if you aim to do more than writing code to get your
projects working, that is if you intend to write a "library", then you
all need to refocus seriously on the user experience.
Thankyou very much for this. Feedback of this sort is increadably
valuable (if somewhat pain full to read :).
My first shot at a reply was going to be a long list of excuses and
reasons behind each of the short falls you highlight (merging projects,
disperate developer, goapi/geotools issues....). But that gets us, and
you, nowhere, so, I'll skip to the end...
The breaking down of this into appropriate bugs and filing in JIRA is
left as an exercise for the developers.
I shall consider that my homework asignment. Printed copy of full rant
in hand I'll see how it splits up into issues.
Thanks again.
James
