Hi Lev,
What version of the source code did you download? I just had a look, and
the min/max ScaleHint methods are on the head versions of both 2.1.x and
trunk, and should be available in the latest releases of both versions
(2.1.1 and 2.2-RC0). They have been around for a little while too, so
they might be available in earlier version, but I am not positive.
Cheers,
Richard

Hi,
I noticed on the Geotools javadocs website, there are two methods
getScaleHintMax() and getScaleHintMin() for the
org.geotools.data.ows.Layer class for the WMS module.
However, after downloading the source code, the Java file for the class
doesn't have these methods. I could sure use these methods. Does anyone
know where I can find the source Geotools .zip file that is consistent
with the apis on the website and has these two methods?
Thanks,
Lev.

Could you possibly send a listing of the jar files you needed to make
this work.
There are so many jars that might be included and many of them conflict.
I have muddled my way through but can't get it to run even on geotools
sample data, so sample data & SLD XML file would be great as well.
Thanks,
Matthew

Last week I said I would post code for a viewer using geotools that
supported panning and zooming. Well, here it is.
The code should be fairly simple to use. I've tried to document it.
In order to build and run the code you'll need the appropriate
geotools jars as well as piccolo.jar and piccolox.jar from piccolo:

This is becoming part of the larger Repast (http://repast.sf.net)
project.
I'll try to answer questions, but I am under quite a time crunch right
now, so hopefully what I've provided is self explanatory.
