I am not sure if that works, the SRID authority is only valid for the a
single Oracle database. A common problem (the PostGIS datastore has a
similar concern).

In PostGis we look up in a table and grab the correct WKT, the reverse
opperation is much more trouble. Hense my questions about putting an
"SRID:#" hint in.
To be clear - there is not a fixed set of SRID numbers, it is dependent
on each oracle installation. Indeed
I am trying to define a WKT definition for an oracle spatial over here:
Name: Lambert SA HH94 cm
Extended Name: Lambert SA HH94 cm
Description: Lambert SA HH94 cm
Datum: wgs84
Projection Type: Conic: Lambert Conformal
lon_0: 23E
lat_0: 35S
lat_1: 33,20'S
lat_2: 26,40'S
False Easting: 0.000 m
False Northing: 0.000 m
Units: Centimetre
Decimal Places: 0
I am going to try and guess (from the existing WKT and documentation),
but will check my answer w/ this list if it is okay with you Martin.
Thanks Martin, and if you ever want to chat I am on IRC in your timezone
now.
