Dear Jody Garnett,
I am working on INDIA Maps, I have created the map with defaultMapContext()
method
and I have not specified the CoordinateReferenceSystem.
My Maps are GeoReferenced and it is WGS84.

When I create the map, it looks as if it is streched and when I print the
mapContext.getCoordinateReferenceSystem()
it is printing as below,
  GEOGCS["WGS84",
  DATUM["WGS84",
  SPHEROID["WGS84", 6378137.0, 298.257223563]],
  PRIMEM["Greenwich", 0.0],
  UNIT["degree", 0.017453292519943295],
  AXIS["Geodetic longitude", EAST],
  AXIS["Geodetic latitude", NORTH]]

here everything is showing fine except SPHEROID which is showing
"SPHEROID["WGS84", 6378137.0, 298.257223563]], "
this should have been in two digits number.

Please guide me how to go about this.

Best Regards
  Govardhan
