(sorry if my english's not good) I used Eclipse but changed for Netbeans 3month ago. Subjet : 1) I'm looking for simple working exemples of the GeoTools library. Building up a mapcontext, adding shape maps, postgis datas... the basics. I tried with the docs on the site but it's not working or not the last version (deprecated use of methods/classes, missing classes and so on ). In the source there is an demo, but not working neither. I'm actually working on a program for conversions, but it's build using GDAL an OGR, I would like to use Geotools. 2) I have another program (finished this one) which open old VisualDem Files (.dem). I translate the file in a CSV file but i would prefer a shape.
