Looking at your sample, you want just visual reprojection,
which is something the renderer will do for you.

I don't have time to put down the code, but the idea is:
* use CRS.decode(EPSG:4326) to get the CRS for wgs84
* use CRS.decode(EPSG:xxx) where xxx is the code that
   represents the lambert conformal conic you need (there
   are many) (see http://sigma.openplans.org:8080/geoserver/srsHelp.do
    for a full list of EPSG codes)
* setup your map layer with a feature source you got
   from the shapefile
* add it to a map context
* setup the map context are of interest with a referenced envelope
   expressed in the projected coordinates you want to display,
   (and with the conformal conic crs)
* set the map context in the renderer, and ask it to be painted.

That should be all
