Hello Asantiago, Basically there are three ways to refer to an SLD file: 1) on the server style=population So in your WMS get map request you would specify style=population as one of the parameters. 2) as a remote file: SLD=http%3A%2F%2Fmyclientsite.com%2FmySLD.xml 3) encoded into the request directly as discussed on http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/ComplexLabelingExample Note that the answer to your question did not directly come from me. I am currently taking Dr. Ian Turtons Open Web Mapping course through the Pennsylvania State University. My answer cam from a chat/office hours sessions with him and fellow students.
I hope this helps. Best, Wendy Ps. Sorry if you have received this message twice. asantiago wrote: > Hi group, > > I know how to request a map on a server thanks to this link > http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTDOC/WMS > http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTDOC/WMS . > > For each layer I can get its possible styles.
