Dear geotoolers, I would like to apply a neighbourhood sum operation on a coverage (ie. like focalsum in esri parlance) using (a) a circular mask and (b) an arbitrary but spatially contiguous neighbourhood.
I'm sure it iust be simple to create a mask and move it over the coverage but I've become a bit lost in the api docs for the coverage and operationxxx classes, so I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
